Born the spring of 2014, The Pretty Little Goat Stringband is delivering an energetic, dynamic and fresh take on old-time music to Brevard and the greater WNC area. Josh Carter brings great chord work, rhythm and punchy lead mandolin lines along with his passionate voice. Owen Grooms brings a driving, plunky sound adding layers of sound and rhythm. Tim Fisher with his great improvisational ability jumps into any song right after learning it with great enthusiasm making it look so easy. Mallory Carter does a great deal of singing, both lead and harmony while adding a percussive layer with her talents on the washboard. And holding the whole thing together are the innovative, fresh, and very tasteful bass lines of JT Linville.
