As a solo artist and lead vocalist, guitar player and songwriter for the nationally acclaimed band Railroad Earth (initially known for his work as acclaimed “front man” for the popular quintet From Good Homes), Todd often writes tunes about love, being positive, and living a simpler life paired with catchy refrains and memorable melodies. Recurring themes of examining one’s destiny, living a good life, and staying true to one’s self resound in his songs. Todd’s songs are well-crafted stories, and are delivered with outstanding musicianship and strong vocals.
Todd has been gaining fans and pleasing music aficionados steadily for many years. He tours frequently coast to coast and appears at many outdoor festivals nationwide every year. This exposure has led to an ever-expanding tour base of devoted “hobos” who will welcome his finely crafted tunes. Todd Sheaffer has learned his craft through years on the stage and in the studio. He has had the good fortune to work with many talented people, and has enjoyed the support of a devoted and wonderful audience. Over the years, he has played with the greats, including: Bob Dylan, Bob Weir, Dave Matthews, Blues Traveler, Joan Osborne, David Crosby, Shawn Colvin, Roger McGuinn, Levon Helm and Rick Danko, Widespread Panic, Medeski, Martin, & Wood, Bela Fleck, and many others.
